What is Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery?
Oral and Maxillofacial surgery
involves the diagnosis and
treatment of conditions and
diseases of the face, mouth,
teeth, jaws, and associated
structures. Oral surgery
training involves four to six
years of additional study beyond
the four years to become a
dentist. This training often
involves rotations in
anesthesia, general surgery,
plastic surgery, neurosurgery,
intensive care, emergency
medicine, and general medicine.
This rigorous training prepares
the oral surgeon to safely
manage a multitude of
oral-facial health conditions.
Our Facility
The present office was
constructed in 1995 to provide a
place where patients could
receive safe, efficient,
state-of-the-art care.
Consultation rooms are set-up to
provide a comfortable atmosphere
where Dr. Cutright will explain
your particular condition and
any recommended treatment. Any
concerns or questions you have
can be privately discussed.
There are three surgical suites
in the office equipped to
provide safe, efficient, and
outstanding care.
Our Staff
We have selected our staff with
particular concern for a warm,
dedicated, and efficient
attitude. Please feel free to
approach anyone on the staff if
you have a question or concern.
From helping you find convenient
appointments, to explaining
confusing insurance and
financial questions our
administrative staff is always
available to assist you. They
are committed to making your
visit as smooth as possible.
All of our surgical assistants
are certified as an anesthesia
assistant by the American
Association of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeons. They are
committed to making your visit
as comfortable as possible.
History of Fairfield Oral &
Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Brian Cutright's father,
David Theodore, opened this
practice in 1971. The office was
located at 436 East Main Street
in Lancaster, Ohio. Dr. David Cutright practiced at this
location for 24 years, building
a successful office by providing
excellent care with a personal
touch.
In 1995 the present office was
opened at 550 East Main Street.
The new facility has allowed
patients to continue to receive
outstanding service in a more
comfortable and relaxing
setting.
